Black and white photos are always a bit more personal.  Something about the classic edit brings a person back to a sweet memory or moment in their life.  When I saw these photos it had the same affect on me, one that really left a positive mark.

I have not always been, and still am not fully, comfortable in front of the camera.  I love photos, I love sharing my passion through pictures, but it’s not always easy to get that perfect shot, or feel confident that you are portraying exactly what you want to your audience.  Confidence cannot be faked in front of the camera.  That is why when I saw these photos, they took me back to a time in my life where I would have shied away from a project involving a designer fearing failure or judgment.  But, I saw myself in these pictures and saw how far I have come from that version of myself.

Feeling confident and fully engaged with my audience, these pictures are personal for me.  A moment of growth I wanted to share with my subscribers, people that may have followed my journey for quite some time or those that have just joined for the ride.  I appreciate the support and hope you enjoy these photos and this project as much as I have.
